The Band - Generation Letter

ALEX
Alex Couch was born in Denver, Colorado and grew up in Central Florida. As a child he studied piano and developed his natural ear for music. Like most kids however, piano lessons gave way to other endeavors. At 17 Alex fell in love with music and became particularly fond of stringed instruments. A self taught bass and guitar whiz, he has also blossomed as a passionate and insightful songwriter.

As a maturing musician Alex played with various local bands honing his skills and solidifying his call to music.

In 2004 he became persuaded as to the supreme value of writing and playing music first and foremost for the Glory of God and the strengthening of His church. As a long time (and very patient) friend of Generation Letter Front Man George Romanacce, Alex has added invaluable musical strength and leadership to the formation and stylistic shape of Generation Letter.

Because of His strong disdain for coffee he has become what you might call "a tea guy" and therefore finds chipper morning people to be a blight on society. As a card carrying night owl, the Rock & Roll scene is most appealing to this young man. When you combine his enthusiasm, his guitar chops, his insightful song writing and his constant gratefulness for the saving power of Jesus Christ you have one seriously powerful chapter in the story of Generation Letter.
